All projects will be evaluated on the basis of certain criteria which form the basis of MTIC's recommendation to the Board.

Project Profile 

• Innovative  (patentable within Biotech and Medtech)
• Unmet customer need (need-to-have vs.nice-to-have) 
• Concise and operational (time to market
• Specific wishes and expectations to  the contribution from MTIC 
• Results of the contribution from MTIC (expected PR -value)

Project Owner 

• Background and commercial experience 
• Resources available to the project - time and personal financing

Commercial potential

• Global perspective and market potential (> 50 million USD pa) 
• Competitive advantage 
• Risks (for failed commercialization) compared to likelihood of success
• Profitable development and operation 
• Possibility to attract sufficient external financing

Potential for the community

• Will it increase the quality of health care? 
• Will it contribute to reduced costs in health care?
• Will it create business development and new jobs in Region Midtjylland?
